Relaxation Massage
Cupping/Gua Sha
Cupping is an ancient Chinese technique that opens and assists in the flow of energy called “chi” through the meridians of the body. The chi flows through every part of the body so when the cups are placed on the body along these meridians the internal energy is able to flow more effectively through the body. The cups penetrate deeply into the tissues to release harmful toxins, stagnation, and blockages promoting healing and well being. Gua Sha uses special tools to draw stagnation to the surface for healing. (Can be a stand-alone treatment or an add on to your session.)
Deep Tissue
Deep Tissue or Rehabilitative massage provides relief from patterns of pain or tension and/or recovery from injury. Injuries may include repetitive use, sports, or accidents. Focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia (protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints)
Orthopedic Massage
Ortho massage focuses on tissues involved in surgery as well as issues from trauma leading up to surgery. Increasing blood flow, lymph drainage, and range of motion results in better recovery. Also, therapy addresses compensation patterns in other muscles.
Pregnancy Massage
A nurturing and soothing
experience for the mom-to-be. This relaxing massage allows a pregnant mother to be pampered and completely unwind while relieving some of the common and chronic discomforts that develop during pregnancy.
Reflexology
Reflexology is an ancient Indian science based on the premise that there are reflex areas in the feet, hands and ears. These areas correspond to all glands, organs, muscles and systems of body. One can receive this work and influence the overall health of their entire body, therefore creating deep ease and increased vitality.
